Customer Reviews :
When I found this app featured on the App Store front page, I was excited to learn that a port of Epic Pinball (as it was known on the PC for those who don’t remember or weren’t there, as Epic Games was the publisher back in the mid-90s).
These inconsistencies, coupled with flipper controls that are difficult to register (on the iPhone 5 at least), all add up to a product that had so very much potential, but ends up falling flat in almost every conceivable way. It isn’t a “bad” game of pinball, but it is far and away from being excellent like its older PC sibling, which is disappointing for a classic PC gamer such as myself.
I played these games on my computer when I was younger. They are the essentially the same now. For a while I didn’t play these regularly. All I had was my old iPhone 3G which really was too small for the beauty of these types of games and when I did upgrade my phone I had forgotten about them. I now have an iPad mini & my iPhone 4s. Both devices play the pinball games well. $2.99 was a good price to pay for all of the tables in this pack. When I first purchased it for my PC in the ’90s it was $5 each and I had to play in the computer room with a bulky headset on so I wouldn’t disturb any one in the house. It was still fun then & playing now, even on my phone, brings back good memories. Very good game. Keep up the good work
